GTA: SA Android

We'll concentrate on how this classic game performs on Android because it's well known and explored on the web. There are some advantages and disadvantages to winning this. For this game, I would only suggest a tablet, and preferably a newer tablet. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab, and GTA:SA runs almost flawlessly, with just a little lag now and then. It's not as bad as I recall it being on a console.

The controls are the greatest disadvantage. Since the GTA series relies heavily on split-second reactions and precise steering, on-screen controls take a little getting used to. Some will suggest using a separate controller for this game, but you could just as well play on your PlayStation at home. However, I can't possibly condemn this port because the controls were translated to the best of their ability.

Missions can be more difficult than normal due to the limitations of onscreen controls. The early missions are still easy enough, but life in late Los Santos becomes increasingly difficult. I'll forgive you if you use cheats (rumor has it that they're available through mods) to get through missions that are just too difficult in this setting.

All of the controls can be adjusted and customized to your style.

My Recommendations on Controls

The most difficult part of the journey will be steering. You have the following options:

Analog” – A “joystick” setup in which you control a circle with your thumb. Walking is the most efficient mode of transportation.

Flick” – control direction by swiping left and right. For me and my broad Slavic thumbs, this is abhorrent, but if you're comfortable with it, go ahead and enjoy it.

I find that “buttons” are the most responsive for steering.

There's also a "accelerometer" feature that's worth investigating. This allows you to tilt your device to control the steering. With the accelerometer turned on, you can still use the onscreen steering controls. I keep it on "heavy" and use button controls, and I find that steering is easier because of the natural tilts you'll do as a reflex.

You can also choose between "light," "heavy," and "classic" traffic modes in the "game" options. Because civil life in GTA:SA is a hellish calamity of crowded chaos, even in the countryside, I recommend “light” for missions with the least amount of distraction.Even so, I'm constantly getting rear-ended on the freeway, even at top speed, and if I dare to stop for more than a minute, I'm met with a pile-up of crashed cars blocking every intersection. It's nearly impossible to drive across town and arrive in a car that isn't dented. On the other hand, you could say the same thing about the console version of the game.

I keep the targeting set to "lock-on" because it works best in most cases. By tapping upon it, you can manually target it.

By the way, since Android controls aren't well documented, here are a few more things I've figured out. Change radio stations by flicking left and right in the far left, far bottom corner of the screen under the steering controls (assuming default setup) for a minute right where the station's name appears. When someone talks to you, you recruit gang members by targeting them as if you were going to shoot them, but then pressing the "knuckle tap" icon that appears right where the social buttons are in the upper right corner (the "thumbs up" and "flip off" reactions).

GTA:SA Still Very much Worth It.

This is the best seven dollars I've ever spent on gaming. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is still widely regarded as one of the best open-world maps available, with so much to see, do, and discover that it has nearly limitless replay value. It exceeds all expectations for a mobile game as compared to the average Android game right now. You can put off missions or complete them at your leisure, but you can still roar around in free sandbox mode and enjoy a better Android game than others.

It's also worth noting that RockStar went out of their way to enhance the graphical quality of the game and did all they could to keep or improve the game's original quality.I'll nominate Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the best non-native ported game to Android before I see something better, which will be difficult to come by.
